To be able to create a cover that was likely to be visually striking even in thumbnail perspective, I needed to convey the idea of activist feminist motherhood with a straightforward, uncluttered impression. On the other hand, I also wanted the design thought being creative and out-of-the-box, something which would raise eyebrows and intrigue. I wo
